Mission Outreach Programs
Local Missions: MCBC Youth is dedicated to serving our community through outreach opportunities. The third Wednesday night of each month from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm is spent at the Autumn Care Nursing home in Drexel where we visit with residents. Visits include spending time ministering through encouragement, prayer, and sometimes song. MCBC youth also make crafts to give to the residents upon visitation - something to brighten up the rooms and give the residents a sense of connectedness to Mount Calvary. If you would like to be a part of our mission outreach programs, please let us know.
Operation Christmas Child: MCBC Youth is dedicated to seeing the spread of the Gospel throughout all nations. Beginning in July of each year, we start collecting items for OCC with a different category of items each month. These items include clothing, school supplies, hygiene, and toys. Starting in October, we will begin the shoebox packing process in hopes of reaching our yearly goal. Secondly, in November, we also travel to the Samaritan's Purse processing center in Boone, NC to drop off the packed boxes and volunteer in their processing center inspecting and shipping the boxes to countries all over the world.
If you would like to partner with MCBC Youth through a mission outreach opportunity please reach out to us.
